As much as I love Sonny's I am pretty sure I got food poisoning the last 2 times I went there for all you can eat ribs. The 3 days I suffered were not fun. Will not be going back.

It's amazing to me that Sonny's has not only succeeded, but expanded. The food always has the ability to give me the worst gastrointestinal issues, bad enough that my bathroom needs to be condemned afterward. Today, at lunch, I should have waited a while and blown up their toilet instead of mine. Maybe they'd get the message.

I feel like I need to say this every time I review not-so-small business, BUT I F'IN HATE CORPORATE RESTAURANTS. Sonny's is my exception. It just hit me that I'm moving back to DeBary and I'll now be able to go here again. That's pretty much the most exciting news of my life. Pulled pork is so AWESOME and their sweet bbq sauce is to die for. It's a huge f'in meal for SO CHEAP! I can't wait to get my chops on their delicious foods!!!!!

this location/owner serves the lowest quality food around, I used to eat at sonnys on a weekly basis, this location is dirty and the food is totally gross, try eating four rivers bbq or smokeshack bbq if you wany something good, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

It's been a long time since we've been to this Sonny's. We stopped coming because the quality of the food seemed to be going downhill why the prices slowly started going up. Well it seems Sonny's has finally lost focus of what they originally had. I truly feel that they should be embarrassed to claim to be bbq. Liquid smoke brushed on the chicken doesn't make it bbq, sorry. You should be embarrassed. Now what really blew my mind was $$$ ($27.98 plus $5 tip) way, way to expensive. We ordered 2 AYCE Chicken Plates with sides. One with corn bread (in the shape of a small muffin) and the other with garlic bread (tasteless). Seems Sonny's even changed the breads to save money. I ordered a sweet tea and my wife order just water. I'm surprised they didn't charge for the water. I couldn't even finish my 1st serving why my wife picked over her's. She tried a reorder of chicken only to be disappointed again. So sorry Sonny's we won't be back. We'll stick to Brian's BBQ. At least their chicken tastes like it's been smoked and I mean SMOKED!!! Even the meat of the chicken not just the skin. Sonny Tillman maybe you should stop by Brian's BBQ and learn something about bbq.

Having changed jobs I'm in Orange City most days. I used to eat a Woody's quite regularly but they changed staff and its just not the same, Anyway, started going to this Sonny's and have been pleased with every visit, even when its rushed, all the staff are kind and courteous. I like Erin the best, she takes time to remember what I get every time and always hustles, the food comes out hot and always cooked to the way I ask for it.

In a fit of highway hunger, we did not Yelp this, and ended up quite by accident at this great barbque place, "best outside of Texas," says dear husband. We demolished the family style meat plate, a plate they were happy to customize for us sans chicken. They subbed the sliced pork - we have never had such moist, thinly-sliced pork. DEE-LISH! This was a great place to stop on the road, and I would love to cater a party with Sonny's. Alas, it is a bit far away from Maryland!

not sure about the bad reviews mine just the opposite. patty our server was one of best i have had and at 70 years old have had a few in my lifetime. the other servers appeared good and all had pleasant smiling personalities which lately seems amazing in some restaurants. Patty was on the ball attentive concerneda about the order since i was unsure about st louis ribs vs baby back which I prefer. wire had a giant pulled pork sandwich for $6.00 and i has st louis --both really great . I have had poor experience at sonn'y near home in apopka but they have had some improvement lately. I would rather travel back to orange city --hope they can keep up the experience we had

MMMMmmm...Generic but good. Sonnys in Ornage City is a real favorite among churchgoers and family-types in the area, and it has a real southern atmosphere to it. The BBQ is a little generic, but it is good nonetheless, and any menu that has " All U can Eat Pork and Chicken" on it can't be all bad. The Good: Comfortable Food: Sonny's as a fairly generioc menu with all the pulled sandwhiches and BBQ food you can think of. There's not much else, but generally you walk in knowing what you want, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Big servings: Sonny's is a great place to go to if you are incredibly hungry. Otherwise you'll probably need a doggy bag, as they give you a lot. And did I mention the Unlimited Pork And Chicken? The Bad: Ummm...waiter please?: Our waitress was MIA almost the entire time we were here. My mother got the Unlimited Pork and Chicken and had to wait quite a while before bieng served again, which was a huge issue for us. Plus Drinks were never refilled, and we had to flag her down just to leave. Fox News: Okay, this is a personal gripe, but the Sonnys in Orange City has 4 TVs, each with Fox News on all the time. I mean really? Can't you just put it on ESPN or something people won't argue over? Sonny's in Orange city has great food, but the service here was pretty bad, and I would REALLY appreciate it if someone changed the channel! Overall 6.1/10 =Eat your Pork and Chicken and shut it!
